What

  • scripts/test-build.sh hardcoded version-bump expectations (0.1.9, 0.2.0, 1.0.0, 0.1.8) written when the manifest was at 0.1.8
  • The suite has been failing since dev's version bump to 0.1.9 in c57eb9f - Tests 5 and 9 (19/21)

Fix

  • Capture the manifest version at suite start and derive the expected patch/minor/major bump results from it (EXPECTED_PATCH / EXPECTED_MINOR / EXPECTED_MAJOR)
  • The suite now stays valid after any future version bump

Verification

  • wsl bash scripts/test-build.sh - 21/21 pass (rebased on top of merged dev, 4b81547)
  • wsl bash build.sh --ci --lint-only - 0 errors / 0 warnings / 0 notices
